With over twenty years in the tech industry, and thirteen years of MBA advisory experience, Micah brings a wealth of experience to the business school admissions process. He also has held senior positions in the tech, real estate, transportation, and energy industries, including operating roles at Google and a number of NYC-based startups.
A native of the Washington, DC area, Micah attended Stanford University and spent time in San Francisco before returning to the East Coast, where he has settled with his family just outside New York City. Throughout his career, he has developed and managed extensive global client relationships, and has spent time living in Thailand, Singapore and France. He understands the challenges of global business, and how to best position applicants to succeed in today's complicated environment.
Micah has advised nearly 100 prospective MBA students on their applications, with a specific focus on working with international students interested in applying to US and top European MBA programs. He holds an MBA from INSEAD. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, travelling and exploring the world with his wife and two daughters.
How can Micah's experiences help?
Deeply curious about people, Micah focuses on helping clients present themselves to their target schools in a way that doesn't just check boxes but puts forth a compelling portrait of their ambitions and background. By highlighting differences in perspective, experience, and thought, he helps candidates stand out from the pack out in the eyes of admissions committees. Further, his deep experience in tech and other industries allows him to push those he works with to think about the life story they are writing, and how an MBA can accelerate it.
